The Heart of the Muse

what inspires those who inspire us?

Kristen Caven

A "liberal artist" with a generous muse, Kristen Caven writes in various voices on a variety of subjects to illuminate, enlighten, inspire, and amuse.

ABOUT: Heart of the Muse

new logo_whiteHeart of the Muse began in 2011 at Books, Inc. in Alameda. Poets from all over came to read at the open mic, hosted by Amos White.

It was born again in 2015, with Kristen Caven co-producing and took root in 2016 at Rhythmix Cultural Works.

We don’t have a regular home or schedule yet, but we will evolve over the next year into an SF Bay Area salon like no other.

Please Like us on Facebook or Contact Us to be notified of upcoming events.

Every @Heart of the Muse is different. It’s all about the energy, and the resulting synergy, of artists sparking with one another.
